A tax computation is a detailed breakdown showing how customs duties and taxes are calculated on imported goods. It outlines the customs value of the goods, applicable duty rates, VAT, and any other statutory charges payable to the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA).  At Fastline Clearing and Forwarding Limited, we provide clients with a clear tax computation before goods are shipped to ensure full transparency and accurate budgeting.

The Value for Duty Purposes (VDP) usually includes the cost of goods, insurance, and freight (CIF). Other applicable charges may also be added to this value to determine the total amount payable to the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) for imported goods.
